IROR Safety, Health, Environmental, & Quality (SHEQ) Consulting Services is a division of IROR Group of Companies. We are a 100% black female owned South African company founded in 2014.

Our clients from various industries (mining, petrochemical, logistics, events management, etc.) are considered partners.

Our business is to ensure legal compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 95 of 1993 as well as the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996; where we expand our services across the borders of South Africa, our business is to comply with the relevant SHEQ legislations.

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Ms. Rorisang Maphanga is IROR Group’s Founder and currently Managing Director of the SHEQ Division.

She has over the past decade acquired extensive SHEQ experience within Petrochemical, Energy and Mining industries. Her career started in 2005 as a Fire Engineering intern at SABS’ Fire Engineering Laboratory and later was promoted to Test Officer. As part of her career development plan, in 2008 she joined a giant in the Petrochemical sector SASOL Synfuels in Secunda as a Safety Officer where her love for Health and Safety was birthed and thereafter she never looked back. She was amongst the team that was hailed Safety Team of the Year for three consecutive years.

Post completion of BTech in Safety Management, she bid farewell to the SASOL team and tapped into the Mining industry by joining Hernic Ferrochrome in Brits (now Samancor Dikwena) where she was introduced to Ferrochrome mining processes and the Mine Health and Safety regulations working as a Services Safety Officer.

Under Rorisang’s leadership, IROR SHEQ Consulting Services managed various projects in the Telecommunications, Construction, Mining and Energy sectors. She led teams that ascertained client’s objectives and targets were met and prides herself by the immeasurable input of successful projects completed to date by her and the team.

She continues to expand her wings and established partnership and networks with other industry players to achieve what seems impossible.

Rorisang holds a Bachelor of Laws, HWSETA accredited Assessor, SAIOSH Graduate Member, coach and mentor of upcoming SHE professionals.

She is a firm believer of God the Creator, lover of life and regards herself as the ‘Advocate for Compliance’.
